I admit, I am suffering from a severe case of election burnout ( wotdehell, anyway yuh take it we still go be ketching we royal in de West Indies!). Brings to mind the fact that thinking we are alone in our region is a dangerous fallacy. If for no other reason than the fact that Trinis find deyself in war zone Georgia, people hadda realise that we are in fact global citizens and EVERYTHING will have an impact. And the promise idealized by King and RKennedy? It might come, it might. I see it as a test of humanity, one that I am not aware that it has ever passed in anything close to a unilateral fashion.
